High blood pressure during pregnancy and after delivery is one of the leading causes of serious illness and death in new mothers — and many women don't even know their blood pressure is elevated until it becomes a crisis. The Cuff Kit Program is changing that.

Offered in partnership with the Preeclampsia Foundation, the Cuff Kit Program provides free blood pressure monitoring kits to pregnant women and postpartum mothers in our community. Each kit includes a blood pressure cuff and educational materials to help you understand your readings and know when to seek care.

Monitoring your blood pressure at home helps catch problems early, especially between prenatal appointments or after delivery when risks remain high. If you are pregnant or have recently given birth, contact our health department to find out how to receive your free Cuff Kit.
