The Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program is a public health initiative focused on reducing drug overdose deaths and injuries through the collection and use of timely, accurate data. By better understanding where overdoses are happening, who is most at risk, and what substances are involved, we can target prevention efforts where they are needed most.
Through OD2A, our health department works to improve overdose surveillance, connect people to treatment and recovery resources, and support community-level prevention strategies. The program addresses the full spectrum of the overdose crisis — including prescription opioids, illicit drugs, and polysubstance use.
If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use, help is available. Contact our office for information about local treatment options, naloxone availability, and other recovery support services.
