Temporary Medicaid for Pregnant Women

Case management is a service of the New Madrid County Health Department for high-risk pregnant women. A registered nurse provides face-to-face visits with each women on a monthly basis.

Temporary Medicaid for pregnant women is available through our WIC department. Temporary Medicaid is issued any day that the WIC or Health Department staff is available. A pregnancy test from the Health Department or a physician office is required. If you meet the guidelines, a temporary Medicaid will be issued that day.
