Our Health Department encourages families to breastfeed and offers the following
- Manual and electric pump loan program
- Certified Lactation Consultant
- Breastfeeding Peer Counselor
Our breast pump loan program is available for all residents of New Madrid County. A $25 deposit is required at time of check out and returned when pump is returned in clean, working condition. Also 2 certified lactation consultants on staff are available for support and questions about breastfeeding.
